Appeal of conviction and sentence for conspiracy to distribute cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. ยงยง 841(a)(1), 841(b)(1)(A)(iii), and 846. HELD: Interdependency among conspirators is element of criminal conspiracy. Therefore, to prove conspiracy, government must show: (1) that two or more persons agreed to violate law; (2) that defendant knew essential objectives of the conspiracy; (3) that defendant knowingly and voluntarily took part; and (4) that conspirators were interdependent.
